We are proud to announce the event raised $18,854 for Canine Companion.
Our milestone 20th event will be taking place in 2027. Look for announcements late fall of 2026
Greetings Peanuts Fans,
The 75th anniversary has passed. Over 200 Peanuts lovers converged on Lancaster, PA to celebrate this monumental milestone and the wonder of the Peanuts world Charles Schulz gifted all of us with.
Thank you to all who joined us in this celebration and helped raise a wonderful $18,854 for Canine Companions. We hope you all had a wonderful, Peanuts filled weekend.
Thank you to the Canine Companion representatives who joined us for the auction. It was wonderful having you attend to show us how impactful this is.
Thank you to our speakers Jimmy Gownley and Harold Bucholz from the podcast Peanuts Unpacked for attending. Your presentation on Charles Schulz's works from the perspective of fellow cartoonists was insightful, entertaining and educational.
Most of all thank you to all the volunteers who helped out over the weekend. You are all amazing and our events would not happen without you!
We hope everyone had as great a time as the committee had. We feel it was one of the best East Coast Collectors Weekend ever!
Hopefully you will be able to join us in 2027 when we celebrate an exciting milestone for ECC!

We made the local news during our ECC 2023 event!!
We were visited by local channel 8 WGAL. They were interested to see what all the excitement was about. See one of our founders Chuck Macy giving them the scoop.

The events in our weekend include but is not limited to:
Meals which include games, contests and door prizes
A Saturday collectors market with vendors selling Peanuts memorabilia from vintage to new
Silent and voice auctions benefiting the Canine Companions charity organization
Room sales through out the hotel all weekend
S.P.I.K.E (our version of Bingo honoring Snoopy's brother) during registration also benefiting Canine Companions

What is ECC?
Formed in 1994 as a way for fans of the Peanuts comic strip to stay in touch. East Coast Collectors (ECC) hosts bi-annual events to benefit Canine Companions, a charity providing helper dogs to those in need. ECC is an avenue for collectors of the Peanuts comic strip and its memorabilia to share information related to Peanuts. It is not sanctioned by or connected to Peanuts Worldwide, Creative Associates, or the Schulz family.
